Learning in the real (estate) world

The real estate business is one of the most fiercely competitive in the USA, and one where Learning and Development plays a vital role in a company’s success. Alliance Residential are one of the biggest players in this arena, and they’ve recently partnered with Fuse to modernise their learning and communications.

Recognising that their existing LMS infrastructure wasn’t going to match up to their aspirations, Alliance Residential chose Fuse to replace it with a new, modern Learning Experience Platform.

“Stemming from one of our core values — associate significance — we realized that we needed to shift from a traditional training approach to a learning and engagement strategy that puts our associates first,” says Rachel Davidson, Senior Vice President of Performance for Alliance. “Our goal is to better engage with and deliver culture, training and mentorship to our associates in order to recruit and retain a highly motivated workforce. The old school mindset of multiple, 60-minute-plus training classes that must be completed within the first 30 days of employment is being replaced by a more fluid and digestible approach. At Alliance, this translates to short video clips accessible when needed and learning content that is applicable not only to roles but also to our associates’ interests. To make this vision a reality, we needed an engaging platform which would allow our associates to curate their own experience while learning the things necessary to do their job. We are excited to work with Fuse to bring our evolved learning strategy to life and enable our associates to become self-directed learners through the enhanced experience they will have with this platform.”

Founder and CEO of Fuse Universal, Steve Dineen, added, “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Alliance Residential to the Fuse Family. Their vision for simplifying both their learning and comms strategies via Fuse is, in our eyes, essential for the modern workplace and we look forward to supporting this transition. Welcome to the family team.”
